Ulick Palmer – The Lane

Discipline Photography

It is always an interesting discipline to restrict the area in which to take photographs. Here, I have limited myself to the lane in which we live. After descending the hill between steep banks, it crosses the upper reaches of the River Tone over a picturesque stone bridge. From majestic trees to delicate plants, wide views to intimate glades, the images are presented in black and white or colour.

An advantage of “”working from home”” has been that I have been able to visit the lane throughout the year and capture the changing seasons and light.
