Langley Moor – There’s More on the Moor

Discipline Sculpture, Installation, Carving

Langley Moor is one of the old names for the field that runs between Langley Marsh and the bottom of Cutthroat Lane.  For the last five years it has been managed with the help of many local residents to create habitats with new tree planting and marshland alongside the existing pasture. For the 10 Parishes Festival it is also hosting a range of installations, events and workshops that respond to the landscape, its history and habitats.

Installations, events and workshops will include:

Rachel Gundry – stone carving and found materials
Annie Jeffs – mixed media art and stories
Simon Healy – fine art, painting
Nick Bickford – digital and installation art
Sarah Lovett – community decor and site-specific waymarking
Phil Hocking – pen and ink with natural materials
Tony Francis – cob sculpture and pots
