Kingsmead Lunchtime Concert of Music
Kingsmead Concert – Friday September 12th, 2025 1:30pm
At Kingsmead School we are proud to have a lively music department, open to all students who love music and want to be involved. We offer a wide range of lessons, both instrumental and vocal and have many clubs that are run across the school day. We have a diverse curriculum, all students in KS3 have a lesson of music per week and we specifically learn skills and techniques in musical performance, Musical devices and features to be able to compose and develop an understanding in listening and appraising music. We have a focus on using Music Technology to support students learning and run brilliant and engaging topics like podcasting.
We have many shows and concerts throughout the year, always open to all students, these include our Christmas Concert and Summer Musical. We are really excited to be performing as part of the 10 Parishes Festival and contributing to our wonderful community.
