Acupuncturist Sally Lancaster is offering self care workshop with easy to learn practices from traditional Chinese medicine focused specifically around this season of late summer.
Late Summer is recognised as a season in its own right in Chinese medicine and belongs to the Earth element. With its own unique energy Earth bridges the gap between yang, the expansive growth and activity of spring and summer and the more inward and still; the yin energy of autumn and winter. This is a key transitional period is particularly significant for our health.
The workshop will include:
Easy to learn qi gong exercises
Self massage (tui na) to work acupuncture points and energy channels benefiting specific organs and their associated energies
Self care tips for late summer
Open to all levels of experience.
