Art, music, markets, food and drink, crafts and the renowned Carnival Parade will feature in Wiveliscombe this weekend.
An art exhibition by The Wiveliscombe Arts Collective will feature at the town’s Community Centre throughout Saturday and Sunday. This venue was exceptionally popular at last year’s 10 Parishes Festival and includes well-known local artists – John Abraham, Doulla Aebli, Chris Howe, Annie Musgrove, Victoria Ward and Teresa Wilson.
The venue is open from 10am-5pm on both days.
Market Day on Sunday commences at 10am and runs right through until 5pm – the centre of Wiveliscombe will be free of traffic and filled with stallholders, craftspeople and musicians. Live music will feature all day alongside large numbers of stalls containing food and drink, local produce, arts and crafts as well as the town’s cafes, pubs and restaurants.
The Carnival Parade starts at 3pm, this year’s theme is Circus and is guaranteed once again to bring out charming creativity in the town centre.
