Forkbeard Fantasy delighted audiences at the last 10 Parishes Festival with a surreal installation at Wiveliscombe Town Hall.
They return this year in a different location in the town, Myrtle Cottage, found at 13 High St. This is the home of Louise Waugh who also will participate in the festival and promises and exhibition full of colour, narrative and figurative in its style – themes of nature, landscape and still life in oil, acrylic and watercolour.
Forkbeard will appear in Louise’s garden and shed! Mechanical flowers will feature in the garden, an installation by Chris Britton previously described as “mad” by a visitor to National Trust property, Greenway House.
A series of five short animations by Tim Britton will occur in the shed, lauded by Terry Gilliam thus “…gawp as he broadens your brain and exercises your grin all at the same time.”
